Following are the statements made by Lecce coach Marco Baroni ahead of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa match against Cittadella:
“There are still situations that I have to evaluate like Di Francesco, who will be in the match anyway, Ceesay will start from the beginning and then I will try Blin as central defence. This week we have lightened up a bit, but we are still on heavy workloads. The work we have done so far has been good, we have changed a lot of players, with interesting youngsters who made themselves available immediately with a work culture. There is still a month of the market and there is great confidence in the club and the technical area that knows the dynamics of the market and the pitch. My focus is only on preparing ourselves as best we can, knowing that we will find some initial difficulties, but we will have to rediscover the identity that allowed us to achieve what we did last season”.
