Biancocelesti defender Alessio Romagnoli spoke during his official presentation with Lazio at the Centro Sportivo in Formello:
“I always hoped for this epilogue, both Lazio and I wanted it. I’m happy to be here, it’s always been my dream and my family were happy with the choice. I’m fine, I feel much better physically than a few weeks ago. Sarri, compared to Pioli, has a more tactical game, this type of football is more suited to me and I like it more.
The fans’ welcome at the Paideia was an emotion, they always support us: now it’s up to me, to reciprocate all this affection. The team goal is to reach the Champions League because this group is strong, I’ve always thought so. Lazio have always been strong, every time I faced them against Milan it was tough. For me it will be important to play more than last year and do well”.
