Lawrence Ati-Zigi earns spot in Swiss League Team of the week

Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has been named in Swiss Super League Team of the Week for matchday three of the season.

The shot-stopper continued from where he left off last term by putting in a good performance on Saturday to help his side win 2-0 over FC Zurich.

The win propel St. Gallen to second on the Swiss super league table with six points, one point behind leaders Young Boys.

The 25-year-old now has two straight cleansheets and he achieved that by making 12 saves.

Ati-Zigi hopes to become Ghana’s number one goalkeeper at the World Cup later this year despite immense criticism from Ghanaians.
