LA Galaxy in advanced talks with Genk to sign Ghana winger Joseph Paintsil

Ghana international, Joseph Paintsil is set to move to the United States of America to open a new chapter in his career.

According to information gathered, he will be joining Major League Soccer (MLS) side LA Galaxy.

It is understood that LA Galaxy are already in advanced talks with KRC Genk and are confident a deal will be reached in the coming days.

Sources say what is left is for the two clubs to agree on a transfer fee for the Black Stars winger.

The Belgian giants value Joseph Paintsil and want a fee in the region of 8 million euros before sanctioning the transfer of the winger.

Joseph Paintsil in the last few seasons has been a key man for KRC Genk and almost led the team to lift the Belgian Pro League title last season.

This season, the Ghana forward has been a key man for his team in the Belgian top-flight league.

He has scored six goals and provided four assists after making 23 appearances.

If a deal is reached between LA Galaxy and KRC Genk, the 25-year-old Black Stars forward will be presented with a four-year contract.
