Kwame Karikari scores for Degerfors in Sweden

Ghana youth striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari got on the score sheet for Degerfors as they defeated Landskrona 2-0 in the Swedish second-tier league on Friday.

The 19-year-old AIK Stockholm loanee shimmied two Landskrona defenders before sending a low effort to a acute angle in stoppage time to add to Erik Nilsson’s opening header.

It was the former Ghana U20 striker’s third goal in five games since joining the Degerfors on a three month loan stint from AIK Stockholm.

FIFA 2009 Under-20 World Cup gold medallist Kassenu Ghandy warmed the bench for Degerfors.
