The Sports Director of Fortuna Dusseldorf, Christian Weber says the club is elated it has managed to secure the services of Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Baah.
The German Bundesliga 2 side on Friday announced the loan signing of the player born in England from Watford.
“Fortuna borrows Kwadwo Baah. The 19-year-old winger comes to Dusseldorf from English second division side FC Watford for a year with a purchase option and will wear number 14 on his shirt,” the German club said in an official statement.
Speaking on the latest arrival, Christian Weber stressed that the player fits perfectly in the requirement profile of the club.
“With Kwadwo Baah, we’re getting a player with potential for development who already has a lot to offer and who fits our requirement profile perfectly with his pace and physique. In England he showed his talent from a very young age. The fact that he’s regularly part of the German U19 national team underscores his abilities,” the Fortuna Dusseldorf Sports Director said as quoted on the website of the German club.
