Ghana Football Association President and CAF Vice President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku was part of a high-level delegation that visited the FIFA Regional Office for Africa in Rabat on Monday.
The visit came a day after the official opening of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday, December 21.
Okraku joined CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe, FIFA President Gianni Infantino and other senior football administrators for strategic engagements.
Discussions centred on advancing football development across the continent.
Key focus areas included governance reforms, youth and grassroots development, infrastructure growth and the effective implementation of FIFA Forward programmes.
Okraku’s participation in the meeting highlights Ghana’s rising profile within CAF and its alignment with global football leadership structures.
The GFA President has been a strong advocate for transparency, institutional strengthening and long-term sustainability in football administration.
During the engagement, CAF reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with FIFA and member associations to deliver impactful development programmes.
