Mohammed Kudus has opened his goal-scoring account for West Ham United in their 4-1 thrashing of Ipswich Town at London Stadium.
The Ghanaian sensation’s header in the first half added to Michail Antonio’s lightning-fast opener, which came just one minute into the game.
Ipswich Town briefly leveled the score through Liam Delap’s goal five minutes later, but Kudus’ strike, along with goals from Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paquetá, secured a comfortable victory for West Ham.
This win marks a significant boost for Kudus, especially after manager Julien Lopetegui questioned his team spirit.
With seven appearances under his belt, Kudus has finally found the back of the net, redeeming himself and proving his value to the team.
He has been included in Ghana’s 25-man squad by coach Otto Addo for the doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
