Joseph Ablorh is set to make a high-profile move to Accra Hearts of Oak, with talks between the player and the club reportedly at an advanced stage.
The 27-year-old defender’s contract with Asante Kotoko was terminated earlier this week, citing “best interest of the club” as the reason, despite having six months remaining on his deal.
Ablorh has expressed gratitude to Kotoko fans and is now weighing his options, with Hearts of Oak appearing to be the frontrunner.
If the deal goes through, Ablorh will join an elite group of players who have represented both Kotoko and Hearts, including Charles Taylor and Luis Agyemang.
The experienced centre-back has made nine appearances for Kotoko this season and was part of the team that won the FA Cup last season.
Negotiations are expected to conclude soon, with Ablorh set to arrive in Accra to finalize the deal.
