Asante Kotoko’s Mohammed Camara has been named Goalkeeper of the Month for December by the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union (NEGO).

Camara’s impressive performance helped Kotoko remain unbeaten in six matches, boasting three clean sheets, five wins, and one draw, conceding only three goals.

He beat strong contenders Benjamin Asare (Hearts of Oak), Masawudu Inusah (Aduana FC), and Dari Aziz Haruna (Bechem United) to claim the award.

Camara, who joined Kotoko in July 2024, has become the first-choice goalkeeper and has played a key role in the team’s success.

As part of his prize, NEGO will present him with a pair of gloves, a branded towel, water bottles, and a T-shirt.
