Asante Kotoko’s Communications Director, Sarfo Duku, says the club will make a final decision on interim coach Karim Zito’s future once the current season concludes.
Zito stepped in to lead the team following the mid-season departure of Prosper Narteh Ogum, who left due to a poor run of results.
Since his appointment, the experienced coach has gone unbeaten in five matches.
“At the end of the season, we will do a proper assessment of their performance within this short period and take a decision that will be in the best interest of Kotoko and Ghana football,” Duku told CitiSports.
They’ll host Medeama SC this weekend at the Baba Yara Stadium before wrapping up away to Vision FC.
Zito also has a chance to end the season with silverware when Kotoko face Golden Kick FC in the MTN FA Cup final on June 15.
