Asante Kotoko have officially welcomed Dogo Yakubu, a talented 21-year-old striker from MidCity Football Academy, on a three-and-a-half-year contract.

Yakubu expressed his excitement about joining the Porcupine Warriors, saying, “I’m still young, and I believe I have a huge chance here to make a name for myself. Joining Kotoko is a big opportunity for my career, and I’m grateful for the trust the club has shown in me” .

Head coach Abdul Karim Zito highlighted the club’s long-term vision, stating, “This signing is part of our plan for the future. Dogo is young, hungry, and has the qualities we look for in a modern striker”.

With his pace, movement, and eye for goal, Yakubu is expected to strengthen Asante Kotoko’s attack.
