Asante Kotoko are closing in on a reunion with former midfielder Richard Boadu ahead of the January transfer window.
The 27-year-old has been without a club since parting ways with Tunisian giants Club Africain in June 2025.
After leaving Kotoko in 2023, Boadu spent time in Libya with Al Ahly Benghazi and Al-Tahaddy before heading to Tunisia.
He has now returned to Ghana and has been training with the Porcupine Warriors as the club looks to strengthen a squad hit hard by injuries.
When asked by Kessben FM about the possibility of rejoining his former side, Boadu replied, “Everything is possible. Kotoko is my home. It is normal training with them.”
During his previous spell with Kotoko, he made 62 appearances, contributing two goals and an assist.
