Asante Kotoko have filed a protest against the match officials that handled the Super Clash against Hearts of Oak.
The first Super Clash of the 2022/23 league season was staged on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
After the game, fans of Asante Kotoko expressed sentiment over some decisions they believe should have gone in the favour of the team.
In the latest post on the social media page of Asante Kotoko, the club has given the indication that it shares the same notion.
The club says a protest has officially been filed with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
“The club after a careful study of yesterday’s game footage has filed a Complaint with the GFA against the decisions of the officiating officials,” a club statement from Asante Kotoko has said.

Sunday’s Super Clash was handled by referee Selorm Yao Bless as the centre referee.
