Defender Eric Donkoh says Kotoko are eyeing a revenge against Ashantigold ahead of the 2015 SIC Nyametei SWAG Cup on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors will battle their regional rivals at the Baba Yara stadium for this year’s prestigious SWAG Cup.
This will be the fourth meeting of the two sides this season with Ashantigold dominating.
Kotoko left-back Eric Donkoh says the club is primed to avenge last season’s defeat against the dethroned Ghanaian champions.
‘We want to go for revenge, they defeated us in the Otumfuo Cup and the League so we have to beat them this time around,’ he spoke to Starr FM.
‘I know they will also be coming in for a win but we are well prepared and I believe we can beat them this time around to win the Cup.’
Kotoko is the most successful club in the SWAG Cup after winning the coveted trophy 13 times out of 19 appearances
