Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei is lamenting his side’s poor conversion rate despite thumping Ebusua Dwarfs 3-0 to improve to fifth.
Youngster Dauda Mohammed bragged a double and Frank Sarfo Gyamfi also scored in the drubbing to make it back-to-back wins.
But Osei was expecting a bigger score line and was left shocked by some of the scoring chances missed by his side.
“Football is a strange game. Some of the chances we missed were difficult to understand but we are going to work on that,” Osei said.
“We have to keep on working. The misses are unfortunate. It’s good we are creating the chances though.
“The league is still on. We will see. We didn’t get a good start. The objective now is to secure more points.”
This puts Kotoko four points behind leaders Hearts of Oak.
