Hearts of Oak defender Kelvin Osei Asibey has hailed Asante Kotoko’s Albert Amoah as the toughest opponent he faced during the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Amoah, who scored 12 goals in 25 matches, was a standout performer for the Porcupine Warriors, helping them to a third-place league finish and an FA Cup triumph.
“Albert Amoah really gave me a tough time in the first round,” Asibey told Sporty FM. “He runs a lot and made me struggle.”
The two will square off again this Sunday in the President’s Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium, as Hearts and Kotoko renew their fierce rivalry with silverware on the line.
