Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has completed his medical tests with Tottenham Hotspur.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper’s contract at Southampton runs out next month and he will move as a free agent with Spurs getting the man they needed to be an understudy to Hugo Lloris come next season.
The goalkeeper might as well forget about any slim hopes of making the 2022 World Cup squad with England which is slated later this year as he is not expected to have more games time in London despite Spurs making it to the Champions League.
Fraser Forster will be announced as new Tottenham player very soon. Paperworks ready as he’s gonna join Spurs on a free transfer, he was considered the best option on the market for a backup GK. ⚪️? #THFC

The 6ft7 keeper played six times for England between 2013 and 2016 and recently received a first international call-up in five years as a late replacement for Sam Johnstone.
He spent eight years with the Saints and picked up 162 appearances including 134 in the Premier League. He was one of the three players the Saints picked up from Celtic alongside Virgil Van Dijk and Victor Wanyama.
