Swedru All Blacks coach Kasim Ocansey Mingle believes his side let a win slip through their fingers against Basake Holy Stars.

The matchday 23 clash at AAK II Sports Stadium in Ampain ended 1-0 in favor of Holy Stars.

Jacob Boazee scored the only goal of the game in the 60th minute, giving the Nzema-based side a crucial victory in the relegation fight.

Mingle expressed frustration after the defeat, insisting his players created more opportunities than they converted.

“It was a balanced game, but we should have won the match.

“We had our chances and couldn’t utilize them. Our opponent did not create chances to score us but we created chances and wasted them. Holy Stars had a penalty and converted to win,” he said.

The loss leaves All Blacks hovering near the relegation zone, with every point becoming vital in the closing stages of the season.

Basake Holy Stars, on the other hand, move further away from danger with the three points.
