Karim Zito invites 3rd batch of 36 U19 prospects for 3-Day screening exercise

National U19 Coach Abdul Karim Zito has invited 36 prospective players in a non-residential screening exercise that will take place in Accra at the Madina Astro Turf.

The 3-day non-residential screening, which will be held from Tuesday, August 20 to Thursday, August 22, 2024, is aimed at evaluating emerging young players from across the length and breadth of the country.

The selected players, who have been scouted from the various regions, are to report to the Head Coach, Abdul Karim Zito, at the Madina AstroTurf pitch at 9 am prompt on Tuesday, 20th August, 2024. They will undergo series of drills, training matches and technical assessment by Coach Zito and his technical team.

Following the non-residential program, selected players may be invited for further training and potential inclusion in the nucleus of the U19 national squad, which will be preparing for international assignments.

The National U19 team was recently formed by the GFA in its bid to nurture young talents and provide a developmental pathway for young footballers.
