Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito is confident about his team’s chances of winning the MTN FA Cup despite a 3-1 defeat to Vision FC in their final Ghana Premier League match.
Zito views the loss as a wake-up call ahead of the FA Cup final against Medeama SC. .
“I think Vision FC played good and they deserved to win,” he said. “The positive side of this game is that it’s a wake-up call to the finals we are going to play, because I saw it coming before the Medeama game, he said in his post-match game.
The defeat has given Zito an opportunity to reassess his team’s strategy and make necessary adjustments for the FA Cup final.
“It will help me to rearrange my boys well for the FA Cup finals,” he explained. “The defeat will help me positively. It’s a wake-up call for us to work hard to win the FA Cup.” .
