Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana’s Coppa Italia match with Genoa was cut short after just 20 minutes due to an injury.
The 23-year-old was seen holding his right leg, appearing to strain a muscle, but managed to walk off the field unaided.
This isn’t the first time Sulemana has dealt with injuries; his history shows recurring issues, including thigh, ankle, and muscle problems. Atalanta will likely monitor his condition closely, given his past struggles.
Sulemana joined Atalanta from Southampton in June 2025 for €17.5 million, signing a four-year contract with an optional fifth year.
