Ghana’s Kamal Sowah scored in Club Brugge’s victory against La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday evening.
He played full throttle in Club Brugge’s 2-0 win over Diego Simeone’s side at the Jan Breydel Stadium in Belgium.
The former Leicester City attacker scored in the 36th minute for the Belgian club.
Black Stars defender Denis Odoi playing for Brugge was yellow carded in the 37th minute.
The host scored again in the 62nd minute via Ferran Jutglà.
Antoine Griezmann’s shot from the penalty spot hit the woodwork in the 76th minute.
Club Brugge is currently first in Group B with nine points after three games.
