Juventus offer Pogba €8m a year to return to Turin

Italian machines Juventus have offered Paul Pogba a net salary of about €8m (£6.8m) a year, plus potentially lucrative bonuses, as they try to persuade him to return.

Pogba’s exit from Manchester United was confirmed on Wednesday and Juventus are ready to give him a three or four-year contract.

Talks have reached an advanced stage but the midfielder has not provided an answer regarding the proposal.

The 29-year-old has rejected interest from Manchester City and received an offer from Paris Saint-Germain but it remains to be seen whether Leonardo’s departure as the French club’s sporting director will affect their pursuit.
