German-Ghanaian centre-back Joshua Quarshie is being linked with a move from Southampton to Austrian club Sturm Graz.
The 22-year-old joined Southampton from Hoffenheim for €3.5m in July 2025 and has a contract with the Championship club until June 2029.
Quarshie has not made an appearance for Southampton in the Championship or EFL Cup this season, with the campaign having reached two possible matches in each competition.
The defender, who was born in Duisburg, began his senior career with Hoffenheim II before gaining experience on loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf and Greuther Furth. He returned to Hoffenheim before completing his permanent move to Southampton last summer.
His current market value is listed at €4m, placing him above the fee Southampton paid to sign him. The proposed move would take Quarshie to Sturm Graz, with the rumour recorded on 27 August.
Southampton are competing in the Championship this season, while Sturm Graz are based in Austria. No transfer fee or probability has been attached to the reported move.
Quarshie remains under contract at Southampton for three more seasons beyond the current campaign, meaning any departure would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer.
