Joseph Adjei sent off in Mohammedan Sporting’s defeat to Real Kashmir

Ghana’s Joesph Adjei was sent off in Mohammedan Sporting’s 3-0 defeat to Real Kashmir at the Naihati Bankimanjali Stadium in West Bengal on Sunday, February 4.

In the opening twenty minutes, neither side was able to generate any real opportunities.

But as the game went on, Mohammedan Sporting players regained their rhythm and started to generate more opportunities, encouraged by an enthusiastic crowd.

Gnohere Krizo scored two goals for Real Kashmir after Shaher Shaheen opened the scoring. All three goals were scored in the second half. Mohammedan Sporting’s Joseph Adjei was sent off in the second half. Ajdei received his second card of the match after responding to a tackle.

The result propelled Real Kashmir to second place in the second division standings, with 23 points from 12 matches, with seven victories, two draws, and three defeats. They also closed the distance on leaders Mohammedan Sporting, who have 27 points from 12 matches (8 wins, 3 draws, and 1 defeat).
