Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson has heaped praise on forward Jordan Ayew, hailing him as one of the club’s most significant signings.
The endorsement comes hot on the heels of Ayew’s recent contract extension with the Eagles, solidifying his pivotal role in the team’s future.
Hodgson’s commendation underscores Ayew’s exceptional contributions, both on and off the pitch, and signals the club’s unwavering confidence in their star player.
“He’s got better and better. I mean I think he’s been one of the club’s best signings because we had him for six months on loan and at the end of that we made the loan permanent for a relatively small sum of money,” he said.
“I think it was actually a very small sum of money by today’s standards, and he’s given five further years of quite incredible service,” he added.
Jordan Ayew has made ten appearances, scored one goal, and assisted two in the Premier League this season.
