The Ghana football Association has provided a positive update on Jojo Wollacott’s injury during Tuesday’s training session.
The goalkeeper hobbled off during training after suffering a soft tissue contusion of the right big toe.
He was immediately assessed by the medical team and given emergency treatment. Wollacott was later reassessed in the medical room at the team hotel and currently, there are no major medical worries since the player is almost pain free.
The Charlton Athletic shot stopper will therefore be available for selection as he has been cleared to train on Wednesday.
Ghana are scheduled to face Angola in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers at the Baba Yara Stadium on March 23 before traveling to Luanda for the reverse fixture four days later.
