Jonina Ladies capped off an impressive December in the 2025/26 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League by claiming both the NASCO Electronics Player and Coach of the Month awards.
Midfielder Agnes Yeboah earned Player of the Month following a series of commanding performances that were pivotal to her team’s success. Yeboah impressed with her energy, consistency, and influence, blending defensive discipline with attacking creativity to drive Jonina Ladies forward.
The club’s head coach Joseph Osei Owusu completed the double by winning Coach of the Month. The award recognized his tactical acumen and effective team management, as Jonina Ladies recorded strong results and displayed cohesion, discipline, and a clear identity on the pitch throughout December.
The NASCO Electronics monthly awards celebrate excellence across the league and continue to play a vital role in promoting women’s football in Ghana.
With both honours secured, Jonina Ladies will look to carry their momentum into the new year, aiming to establish themselves as one of the standout teams of the 2025/26 season.
