Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has issued a touching birthday message to President John Mahama.
President Mahama turned 57 on Sunday with several birthday wishes flooding in from high profile personalities within and outside the country.
Jonathan Mensah who has had many encounters with the President with the rest of his Black Stars teammates will not be left out on wishing the head of state a happy birthday.
Mensah tagged a picture of himself with President Mahama: “Happy 57th birthday to the President of the Republic of Ghana. His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. God bless you Mr. President and God bless our homeland Ghana.”
President Mahama is friends with many of the Black Stars players due to his profound love for football.
He has on several occasions visited the Black Stars camp to inspire them into winning crucial games.
