Jojo Wollacott stars as Charlton Athletic book second round spot in Carabao Cup

Black Stars goalkeeper, Jojo Wollacott played a superb role for Charlton Athletic in their qualification to the Carabao Cup second round.

The Red Robins defeated Queens Park Rangers 5-3 on penalties to progress to the next round of the cup competition.

The win was made possible after Jojo saved QPR’s first penalty in the shootout for the Addicks.

Wollacott’s heroics tonight comes off the back of a MOTM performance in a 1-0 victory over Derby County at the weekend.

The 25-year old joined Charlton this summer from Swindon Town and has maintained his spot as number one so far.

The Addicks play Sheffield Wednesday away in their next League One clash.
