American international of Ghanaian descent Joseph Claude-Gyau has begun biking and jogging as he hits the road to recovery from a knee surgery. Â
Gyau, 22, damaged a knee ligament while on international duty with the United States in early October and went under the knife.
He has started his rehabilitation journey as he starts biking, lights running and jogging to keep him in shape.
“Getting my fitness back!! 1000 meter Läufe,” the youngster tweeted.
While on the sidelines, Gyau has been following Dortmund’s domestic campaign in the Bundesliga and expressed ecstasy when they recorded a narrow win on Sunday against Borussia M’gladbach.
“Very important wins this weekend!!! For the second team and the first! Great work,” he tweeted.
Gyau is a grandson of former Ghana international defender Nana Agyeman Gyau who played for Brong Ahafo United in the Ghanaian top-flight during his playing day.
