Charlton Athletic owner and Chief Executive Officer Thomas Sandgaard cannot wait to see Ghanaian Jesurun Rak-Sakyi in action after completing his move to the club.
The 19-year-old joins the Addicks on a season long loan from English Premier League side Crystal Palace after successful negotiations.
He made two Premier League appearances last season and has been capped by England U20s, scoring on his debut in September 2021.
Owner and CEO Thomas Sandgaard said: “Jesurun is a talented player with a lot of skill and pace. He contributes goals and assists, so I’m looking forward to watching him play in our system.”
Rak-Sakyi drew interest from a number of clubs across the EFL but opted to join Charlton.
He arrives in SE7 on the back of an impressive 2021/22 Premier League 2 campaign, finishing as the division’s joint-top scorer with 18 goals and registering six assists.
The highy-rated forward becomes Charlton’s seventh signing of the summer following the arrivals of Eoghan O’Connell, Mandela Egbo, Joe Wollacott, Conor McGrandles, Steven Sessegnon and Jack Payne.
