Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe has signed for Brooklyn FC as the club gears up for its debut campaign in the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League in the United States.

Brooklyn officially announced her signing on Wednesday, pending final approval from the league and federation authorities.

The 31-year-old joins the newly formed side from DC Power FC, where she was a key figure last season.

Cudjoe is expected to make her first appearance for Brooklyn on November 8 when they host her former club, DC Power FC, at Maimonides Park.

“Jennifer is an experienced player and a true leader. Her composure, professionalism, and passion for the game will make a huge impact on our group,” said Brooklyn sporting director Kevin Tenjo.

Cudjoe, who began her career with Hasaacas Ladies in Ghana, has built a remarkable football résumé that includes time in Denmark, collegiate soccer in the U.S., and spells with Sky Blue FC (now Gotham FC) and DC Power FC in the NWSL system.

Cudjoe has represented Ghana at U-17, U-20, and the Black Queens.
