Ghana international Jennifer Cudjoe says she is thrilled to be part of Brooklyn FC’s bold new vision as the club prepares for its first season in the Gainbridge Super League.
The experienced midfielder believes the project represents more than just another move.
It’s a chance to help shape a team from the ground up and bring her leadership to a growing football community in the United States.
“Brooklyn FC is building something truly new and ambitious in American soccer, and I’m excited to be part of it,” said Cudjoe.
“I’ve competed in incredible environments across my career, and I can’t wait to bring my experience, energy, and love for the game to this club and this community.”
Cudjoe, who has played in Ghana, Denmark, and the U.S., joins Brooklyn FC after an impressive campaign with DC Power FC.
The 31-year-old is expected to play a pivotal role both on and off the pitch, bringing stability and experience to a young squad aiming to make its mark in the upcoming season.
Her move also highlights the growing influence of African women footballers in the U.S., where opportunities for leadership and growth continue to expand in the women’s game.
