Ghanaian teenager Edmund Baidoo says he’s motivated to grow after featuring in the expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the United States.
The Red Bull Salzburg forward played all three group games as the Austrian side exited in the first round, facing top clubs including Real Madrid.
“That’s a wrap on the tournament. Time to reflect and improve. Onward!” Baidoo posted on Instagram.
The 19-year-old has impressed since joining Salzburg from Norway’s Sogndal in August 2024, netting 4 goals in 18 league games as they clinched the title.
With interest from English clubs like Nottingham Forest and Brighton, Baidoo’s stock continues to rise; while Salzburg could still book a return to the Club World Cup by winning the Champions League within the next three seasons.
