Injured Ghana attacker Benjamin Tetteh undergoes successful surgery

Ghana international, Benjamin Tetteh has been ruled out of action until the start of 2023.

The former Sparta Prague striker joined English Championship side Hull City this summer to augment the squad of the team.

He managed to start the 2022/23 season brightly until early this month when he suffered an injury.

In a game against Sheffield United, Benjamin Tetteh started for Hull City but only lasted 14 minutes.

He pulled a hamstring and had to be substituted and checked on immediately.

After an assessment, the striker has undergone successful surgery to repair a tendon muscle inside his hamstring.

While that comes as a piece of good news, the bad news is that he will spend months on the sidelines.

The strike will not be able to feature for his club until the new year.

During that period, the forward will not only miss several games for Hull City but will watch when Ghana plays Brazil and Nicaragua in international friendly matches this month.
