Ghana international Iñaki Williams came up with the goods once more as Athletic Bilbao returned to winning ways with a 1-0 triumph over Villarreal in the 2022/23 Spanish LaLiga Sunday night.
The striker scored the only goal of the game at San Mamés in the 59th minute, superbly gathering in a Raul Garcia pass to race clear and fire past the onrushing Villarreal goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli.
It becomes Iñaki’s 5th goal in 12 LaLiga outings this campaign.
Iñaki lasted 81 minutes before making way for Gorka Guruzeta.
Athletic Bilbao currently sit in 6th position in the LaLiga standings with 21 points. They head to Girona in their next action on Friday, November 4.
