League leaders Medeama SC head to Accra this weekend riding a wave of confidence as they continue to set the pace in the Premier League title race.
The Mauve and Yellow strengthened their grip on top spot with an emphatic 3–0 home win over Young Apostles in Tarkwa, opening a five-point cushion at the summit.
That result stretched Ibrahim Tanko’s side’s unbeaten league run to an impressive 15 matches, made up of eight victories and seven draws.
Medeama’s dominance has been built on a strong blend of attack and discipline, having scored a league-best 25 goals while conceding only 10 after 18 games.
Vision FC, meanwhile, approach the fixture quietly confident after grinding out a goalless draw away to FC Samartex 1996 last time out.
The result extended Nana Kweku Agyemang’s side’s run of clean sheets to three straight matches and underlined their growing defensive resilience.
Sitting 11th with 22 points, Vision FC have been particularly solid at home this season.
They remain unbeaten at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, recording four wins and four draws while conceding just three goals.
With Vision FC also having beaten Medeama in their only previous league meeting in Tema, the stage is set for a tense encounter between form and fortress.
