Head coach of Karela United, Nurudeen Amadu, is confident that he can guide the team to avoid relegation in the Ghana Premier League.
The Tamale-based outfit’s performance in the ongoing campaign has been uninspiring, with only 6 wins and 12 losses in 25 games.
Karela now sit 15th on the league table with 25 points, sparking concerns among fans about their chances of survival.
“There’s no way I’ll lead this team to relegation,” Amadu told Graphic Sports.
“I’ve done it before with King Faisal and I’m ready to do it again with Karela United. The team is not very strong compared to others in the Premier League, but I am here and determined to help Karela escape relegation, which was why I was brought in.”
Karela face Aduana FC in their next Premier League outing.
