Antoine Semenyo is loving life at Manchester City.
The Ghanaian forward scored his second goal in as many games for the club on Tuesday and he’s taking it all in stride.
“I’m just taking the confidence I had from Bournemouth and, like I said, playing with a smile on my face. I’m enjoying every moment,” Semenyo said after City’s 2-0 win over Newcastle in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
Semenyo’s impressive start to life at City has earned him praise from Bernado Silva Pep, who said he’s “a very good guy” and “fits into the team”.
The 26-year-old’s movement, directness, and hunger in the final third have quickly made him a fan favorite.
He will be looking to make his first Premier League start against Manchester United over the weekend.
