Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says he’s pleased with his team’s performance but disappointed they couldn’t make their dominance count in their goalless draw against Aduana FC in Week 9 of the Ghana Premier League.
The match at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Saturday saw Medeama control possession and create several chances but fail to find the breakthrough.
“I think we did very well. My team dominated from the first minute to the last, and it’s very unfortunate that the last free kick didn’t go in,” Tanko said after the game. “But I’m satisfied with the performance of my team today.”
The former Ghana international admitted that while they wanted all three points, a draw in Dormaa is still a respectable result.
“Coming to Aduana and taking a point is very, very good for us,” he added.
The result keeps Aduana FC at the top of the table, with Medeama SC sitting just behind them in second place — though the standings could shift depending on Sunday’s fixtures.
