Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has officially returned to English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion following the conclusion of his loan spell with Dutch giants Feyenoord.
The 20-year-old joined Feyenoord during the second half of the 2024/25 season and quickly made an impact, featuring in 32 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and registering three assists.
His blistering pace, flair, and versatility added a new dimension to Feyenoord’s attack as they enjoyed a strong season both domestically and in Europe.
Feyenoord confirmed Osman’s departure in a club statement, noting that he, along with fellow loanees Hugo Bueno and Facundo González, bid farewell to the squad during the club’s end-of-season gathering at their 1908 training complex.
“The loanees Hugo Bueno, Facundo González (whose option to buy was not exercised), and Ibrahim Osman were addressed by head coach Robin van Persie and general manager Dennis te Kloese and thanked for their efforts and contribution to the team,” the statement read.
“As a memento of their season in De Kuip, they received a beautiful, personal photo plate.”
Feyenoord wrapped up their campaign with silverware; the Johan Cruijff Shield and a place in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
They also secured a third-place finish in the Eredivisie, guaranteeing a spot in the third qualifying round of next season’s Champions League.
Osman’s performances did not go unnoticed, as his profile continues to rise both at club and international level. He has already earned two senior caps for Ghana and is considered one of the Black Stars’ most promising young prospects.
