Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of 21-year-old forward Dogo Yakubu on a three-and-a-half-year deal in the ongoing January transfer window.

Yakubu completed his medical earlier today and becomes the club’s second signing this month after Prince Badu joined from Nations FC.

The young striker, known for his pace and goal-scoring ability, expressed excitement about the move.

“I’m still young, and I believe I have a huge chance here to make a name for myself. Joining Kotoko is a big opportunity for my career, and I’m grateful for the trust the club has shown in me.”

“I’m ready to work hard, learn every day, and take my chances when they come. I want to improve, score goals, and help the team succeed.”

Yakubu, who will wear jersey number 42, scored over 30 goals at his previous third-tier club and is expected to bolster the team alongside Kwame Opoku and Morifing.
