Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is adamant the speculation linking Sadio Mane with Bayern Munich will have no impact on the forward’s performance in Saturday’s Champions League final.
Mane continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield with Bayern termed as a possible destination for the Senegalese.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Liverpool manager Klopp said: “Sadio is in the shape of this life, for sure. It’s brilliant to watch him. We ask him a lot and football has asked him a lot with a lot of finals.
“The Bayern Munich rumours, I couldn’t care less. Sadio is completely focused on the game, and he knows how important it is for him and us. It’s not the first time Bayern Munich rumours come up before a big game so no problems at all.”
As reported by Sky Germany, Munich are confident they can sign Mane for less than £42.5m this summer.
