Hull City striker Benjamin Tetteh will be out for up to six weeks after picking up a hamstring injury over weekend in English Championship.
The Ghana international striker sustained a hamstring injury in Hull’s 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday at the MKM Stadium.
The 25-year-old lanky player went down in pain and had to be attended to by the medical team after just minutes into the game.
Tetteh was replaced with Ryan Longman after he was stretched off the field after failing to continue the match.
“Yes, it’s his hamstring,” Hull boss Arveladze said after the game.
“I’ve been through this for the last nine weeks and that’s the way it goes now. We have to try to fix everything and think about the next game. I cannot change much, I cannot change much, or the (fixture) calendar.
“The medical staff are doing their best.”
Tetteh has been named in Ghana’s 29-squad list for the upcoming international friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua this month.
Black Stars will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before tackling Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain four days later.
The former Ghana U20 striker signed for the Tigers this summer from Turkish Superlig club Yeni Malatyaspor.
He has played 8 matches in all competitions and has provided three assists as he yet to score his first goal since joining.
