How Tottenham plan to use Harry Winks to sign Richarlison

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to step up their pursuit of a new forward, according to the Evening Standard.

Antonio Conte is keen to add to his squad before July 9 when they travel to South Korea for pre-season.

Richarlison and Raphinha are two of Spurs’ biggest targets and they are ready to firm up their interest in the pair.

In the case of Richarlison, the north London club could have a possible key to unlock a deal to sign him.

Winks-Richarlison deal

Tottenham are currently in talks with Everton over a deal for Harry Winks.

Now, as per the Evening Standard, Spurs could use the midfielder as part of a deal for Richarlison.

Frank Lampard is keen to add Winks to his squad whilst Conte has the Brazilian as one of his top targets.

The Toffees want in excess of £50 million for Richarlison which Spurs are unwilling to pay.

Therefore, the north Londoners could use Winks, who they value at £20 million, to soften the blow of such a hefty fee.

Ajax close in on Bergwijn signing

Ajax are close to agreeing a deal for Steven Bergwijn, add the Evening Standard.

The Dutch champions are ready to break their transfer record in order to land him.

Their previous record stands at £20.5 million which they paid to sign Sébastien Haller.
