Hohoe United Football Club has parted ways with head coach Bashiru Tijani, with assistant coach Boniface Ayipah taking over as acting head coach in the interim.
The decision was announced by the club’s board, who expressed gratitude to Tijani for his service.
“We appreciate Coach Bashiru for his tenure and contributions to the club,” the board stated. Ayipah will lead the team until a new coach is appointed.
Bashiru managed 17 matches, winning four drawing six and losing seven.
Assistant coach Alhassan Shaibu Osei has also left the club by mutual agreement.
Hohoe United are currently 15th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 18 points from 17 matches.
