Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Karim is going through a tough time after losing his three-week-old baby boy on Sunday.
The child, who was Karim’s firstborn, passed away just hours after Hearts of Oak’s match against Bechem United.
The club sent its deepest condolences to Karim and his family during this difficult period. The midfielder is currently with his loved ones and is expected to rejoin the team soon.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Abdul Karim’s child. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family,” a Hearts of Oak insider said.
Karim will possibly miss next Sunday’s match against Asante Kotoko, but is expected to be back with the team soon.
