Hearts of Oak head coach, Abubakar Ouattara, has made a heartfelt appeal to the club’s passionate fan base, urging them to offer constructive criticism rather than personal insults.
Sections of the club’s supporters have been frustrated following their disappointing 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League opener.
While recognizing that criticism is part of the game, Ouattara stressed that personal attacks can damage team morale and affect performance.
“Constructive criticism is essential for improvement, but insults only create negativity,” Ouattara stated.
“We need your support to rebuild confidence and regain momentum. Let’s rally behind our darling club to restore its lost glory. United we stand, divided we fall.”
The Phobians will travel to Kpando to face Heart of Lions in their second match of the Ghana Premier League season.
